If you happen to come by or stay in this beautiful city, then
you can visit:

the main square of the village, where the visitors can see the statue of the chieftain “Anagnostis Strifompalas”, as well as the Church, a point of exceptional religious interest. All around the square, taverns and restaurants are offering local dishes while folklore stores enable the traveller to get some souvenirs in order to commemorate his visit

The Museum of “Alexandros Papanastasiou”, who was the first President of the Republic of Greece. The Museum was founded in 1976 and is housed in the old City Hall

The ancient city of “Orchomenos”, at a distance of 5 km from Levidi. Excavations brought to the surface one of the largest cities in ancient Arcadia. There you can admire the theatre, the Parliament of the city and some parts of the ancient drainage system

Mount “Mainalo”, a mountain planted all over by pines and an altitude of 1770 metres. The visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of the place, go for hiking or just relax

“Kato Vrisi” (the lower spring) with 14 springs, which, for many years before Levidi got its own water- supply system, was the main water source for its residents

the Byzantine Church of “Panagia” (Virgin Mary)

How to go
By Car:
Levidi is located within a distance of 175 km from Athens. Once you get on Attiki Odos towards Elefsina, continue your trip on the national highway Athens-Corinth for approximately 80 km (40-50 min ride). After Corinth continue your trip in direction to the city of Tripolis (pay attention to road signs in order not to miss the exit). After the toll of “Nestani” and the tunnel of “Artemision”, take the first exit (pay attention to the road signs) which will lead you to Levidi.
Total travel time : 120 – 140 minutes
By Bus:
There are itineraries from Athens to Levidi. The departure point is at the main bus station of Athens. (KTEL Busses Kifisos - Kifissou 100, on the national road of Athens).
